Roger Goodell is in hot water right now. He had to testify in front of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. Because Daniel Snyder has refused to participate in the Commitee’s investigation. And all it’s doing is putting Goodell in danger. Goodell lied under oath when he was asked about Dave Portnoy. Who is the owner of Barstool Sports. For those of you that don’t know Portnoy was banned from all NFL events. So there’s no doubt Goodell knows who Portnoy is. And this is why it’s much easier to live an honest life. When you don’t lie. You don’t have to cover your tracks. Goodell tried to help the Commanders out. So they could get through all of the scandals they’ve had. But all it did was expose all of his own shortcomings. One in particular that could lead to a perjury charge. Now Daniel Snyder has not only sunk himself. He’s also managed to sink Jon Gruden and Roger Goodell in the process.
