The Shapeshifters promo has landed in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with Team 1 bringing us some incredible new cards.
Player position changes are the main part of the promo, so get ready to see some defenders becoming strikers – and vice versa!
The Shapeshifters Team 2 leaks are starting to come in, so check them all out here to see if any of the new releases could provide a key link for your Ultimate Team.
LATEST – FULL TEAM REVEALED
Fut Sheriff has now revealed the full Shapeshifters Team 2 side, with all the ‘official’ stats and new player positions.
14 cards make up the reveal, but it is unclear what 11 will be in packs first, and what three will come via a mini-release (that is if EA does the same as they did with Team 1).
Dominator Delaney
We have our first Shapeshifters Team 2 leak, with Fut Sheriff revealing that Sevilla’s Thomas Delaney will come for free via objectives.
He is set to move into a more defensive role, changing from a CDM to a CB, with an all-round, ball-playing dominator looking on the cards.
Engine-Room Emerson
It looks like we now know both the objectives players that will be released alongside Team 2, with Emerson Royal listed to come for free too.
The Spurs RB is changing into a CM, and if his official card matches his predicted stats, then we could have a new go-to Premier League defensive midfielder.
Featured Flashback
Richarlison is leaked to get a Flashback card via SBC, which is likely in reference to his Shapeshifters version in FIFA 20.
At that time his base position was a RM, and he was changed to a CAM, so we could see him changed from a ST to a RM this time.
Fut Sheriff has listed him as a ST, but all that could change when the card is officially released.
Ridiculous Ronaldo
After seeing his GOAT rival make the Team 1 squad, Cristiano Ronaldo just had to be included in Team 2!
He is set to join Lionel Messi with a 99 OVR rating, and with a conversion from ST to LW you will feel like you’re winding back the years in CR7’s career.
5-Star Marcelo
There were rumours that Marcelo could arrive in the form of an End of an Era card, but it would appear that the Brazilian is now set for a major boost in Shapeshifters Team 2.
With 5-star skills and weak foot both on offer, this card could be insane in Ultimate Team.
Not just that, the former Real Madrid left-back will be ‘shapeshifted’ into a striker, making him one of the most dangerous players on offer in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
Excellent El Shaarawy
Roma’s Italian winger Stephan El Shaarawy is coming during the promo, although we don’t yet know what his position will be.
He has a base position of a LW, so we expect to see him moved to a ST or another central forward role.
Ramos Returns
It’s been a quiet season for Sergio Ramos special cards, with Ones to Watch and FUT Birthday versions the only two to his name – but that is about to change…
The CB is set to move further up-field, with some saying his card will be converted to a ST, meaning some insane stats are going to be handed to him!
Werner on the Wing?
The latest Shapeshifters team 2 leak has seen Chelsea forward Timo Werner revealed to receive a major boost.
It’s unclear what position he could shift to, but there’s every chance that this Chelsea forward could end up becoming a dominant winger in FIFA 22.
Emre the Enforcer
The stats are just a prediction at the moment, but this card for Emre Can looks incredible!
If you’re looking for a solid partnership at the back, he will link perfectly with the recent EOAE Marcel Schmelzer that is available via SBC.
Awesome Argentine
Roberto Pereyra is gaining a bit of a bigger position change than others, moving from CM to a LWB.
He will definitely be a very attacking threat in that position, although we would question how defensively solid he may be.
Super Silas
Very much a FUT favourite, Silas is going to be tearing it up through the middle of the pitch now, moving from RM to CF.
At 6’2″ and with top dribbling ability, the big man could spearhead your attack.
Traore Train
EA loves including this man in a promo and we love using Adam Traore in our team.
Maximum pace is a guarantee, and with top shooting, dribbling and strength stats, this guy could prove unstoppable!
Juiced Jesus
Jesus Corona is the latest leak we’ve seen for the Shapeshifters promo, with some top stats predicted for him.
We have now seen 10 players leaked for the main team, with one more name to come…
Daley Drops
Now we have it, Daley Blind is the final player from the main squad of Shapeshifters Team 2!
He is moving to CDM and looks a solid enough card, although he is definitely the worst of the release.
Make way for Mendes
Another player has been revealed for the Team 2 side, with Thiago Mendes switching over to a RB.
He is the 12th name on the team sheet, so either we’re getting a bigger release than Team 1, or some of the players that have been leaked will be part of the mini-release for Team 2.

Shapeshifters
The Shapeshifters promo was first seen in FIFA 20, although it didn’t reappear in FIFA 21, so we already knew what sort of mechanics to expect.
As always, the promo players will receive massive boosts, but they will also have their cards transformed, with changes coming to player positions, work rates, weak foot ability, and updated attributes to better suit their new position.

A squad was released into packs, with a couple of objective players made available when the event kicked off, as well as a few SBCs coming throughout the campaign.
Shapeshifters had two squad releases in FIFA 20, and with EA specifying that the recent release was “Shapeshifters Team 1” and the Team 2 leaks coming in, it looks certain that we should see a two-week promo coming again in FIFA 22.
