So I was watching film on Christian Watson. And I kept wondering if this guy is more like Davante Adams or more like Jordy Nelson. And it feels like Watson’s game is more like Jordy Nelson. But that doesn’t mean they’re exactly the same. Watson is faster. He’s going to be really good on vertical routes. Just because it’s going to be tough to go stride-for-stride with him. However asking a rookie to be the next Jordy Nelson is big shoes to fill. Nelson was a great route-runner, he was a little bit stronger than Watson, and we have to respect everything he’s accomplished. But If Watson can just give the Packers shades of Jordy Nelson. Then they’re not going to skip a beat. Aaron Rodgers is so good that Green Bay can plug in the rookie. And Rodgers can turn Watson into the next great receiver for the Packers. That’s the best case scenario for this team.
